Ravensburger WebPuzzles was developed by Ravensburger Digital GmbH, a 100% subsidiary company to Ravensburger AG. Our service was started in 2010 and is a pure puzzle platform, designed for all puzzle fans and casual players.

1.2 Are Ravensburger WebPuzzles free?

On Ravensburger WebPuzzles you can do puzzles for free and without any obligation. As a guest on our webside, you are welcome to do an alternating puzzle of 20 pieces anonymously. And of course, registration on Ravensburger WebPuzzles is absolutely free. After registering you have access to all images, though only to a limited number of images per day, with a limited number of pieces. To start a puzzle, just click on the image you like.
Your new user profile will then save the information you need, like unfinished puzzles, awards, or your score. Moreover, you can display your finished puzzles in your showcase and show them to your fellow puzzle fans. A subscription to Ravensburger WebPuzzles does require a fee, however. Become a WebPuzzler Premium! As a WebPuzzler Premium you can do all puzzles without any limits – and even with all numbers of pieces. You will get the tool to show border pieces and you can save up to four unfinished puzzles at the same time. 1.3 What are the technical requirements for Ravensburger WebPuzzles?

In order to play Ravensburger WebPuzzles without difficulties, you should have a DSL internet connection and a computer or laptop with at least 1 GB RAM.

2.1 How do I register for Ravensburger WebPuzzles?

To register, you need a valid email address. If you have one, just click on the link „Register here“ in the login-box in the upper right-hand corner to be redirected to the registration form.
Username: Here, you can choose any username you like to have on Ravensburger WebPuzzles, as long as it consists of 4 letters and/or numbers. After registering, you cannot change your username any more. Email address: Enter your valid email address here. After submitting the registration form we will send you a confirmation link to your inbox. Please click on the link in this email to complete your registration.
Password: Choose a password that consists of at least 6 characters. You will need your username and your password to log in to Ravensburger WebPuzzles later on.
Repeat password: Please repeat your password to make sure, that you entered it correctly.
Accept GTC: If you accept our general terms and conditions, please tick the box. To use all puzzle applications, you need to accept our GTC. Now you can submit the registration form. To do so, click the button „register“ and we will send you a registration email with the confirmation link. Click on this link to complete your registration.

2.2 How do I log in to Ravensburger WebPuzzles?

To log in to Ravensburger WebPuzzles you need to be registered and have clicked on the confirmation link in the email we sent to you. You can log in by filling in your username and your secret password in the login-box in the upper right-hand corner of the webside. With one click on the button „login“ you confirm your entry.

2.3 What does it mean to stay logged in?

To „stay logged in“ means that you will stay logged in even after closing and reopening your browser window. Check this box if you do not want to enter your username and password to log in every time you play on the same computer. You can cancel this setting when you click the logout button.

2.4 How do I change my password?

You can change your password by logging in to Ravensburger WebPuzzles and click on „My Profile“ in the login box in the upper right-hand corner. Your personal settings, like your password for example, can be changed under „Personal Data“.

2.5 I forgot my password, what can I do?

If you forgot your password you can request a new one from Ravensburger Digital. To get a new password, you need your username and your email address. To change your password, please click on the link „Click here“ in the login-box in the upper right-hand corner. (Alternatively, you can also click on the link „here“ in your registration email.) After entering your username and email address, please click on „Reset password“ to receive an email from us. Click on the link in the email that will lead you directly to the „Reset password“ website. There you can enter a new password.

2.6 I don't get a registration email, what can I do?

Receiving our registration email will take a few minutes. If there is still no email from us in your inbox after a while, please check your spam folder. If the email is not in there either you might have entered a wrong email address upon registration. In this case, please send an email to #href#mailto:support@ravensburger-webpuzzles.com?subject=Registrierung#hreflabel#support@ravensburger-webpuzzles.com#endhref# with the subject registration and a short explanation of the problem.

2.7 How do I change my email address?

You can change your email address by logging in to Ravensburger WebPuzzle and click on „My Profile“ just beneath the login-box. Then go to „Personal Data“ just beneath the login-box, enter your new email address in the relevant box and save it. We will then send you a confirmation link to your new email address that you need to click on to save the new address.

2.8 How can I cancel my membership and delete my profile?

As a registered user you can delete your membership and your profile any time. Just send an email with the subject cancel membership to #href#mailto:support@ravensburger-webpuzzles.com?subject=Mitgliedschaft beenden#hreflabel#support@ravensburger-webpuzzles.com#endhref#. Please state briefly why you want to cancel your membership. We really appreciate your feedback. Upon receiving your email we will delete your account and all your data as soon as possible from our server.

3.1 What is included in a membership as WebPuzzler Premium?

Being a WebPuzzler Premium is subject to charge and offers the members many benefits when doing puzzles on Ravensburger WebPuzzles. The link „WebPuzzler Premium Benefits“ leads you directly to the contents of a membership as a WebPuzzler Premium.

3.2 How do I become a WebPuzzler Premium?

To become a WebPuzzler Premium you need to purchase a subscription. To subscribe, please log in to Ravensburger WebPuzzles and click on „WebPuzzler Premium“ beneath the login box or on one of the little WebPuzzler Premium icons. When purchasing a subscription you can choose between three subscription periods. Click on the button „Become a WebPuzzler Premium now“ beneath the subscription package you want to purchase to be redirected to the payment page. As the last step, please accept our GTC and choose your prefered method of payment. Fill in all the empty boxes and confirm your subscription. You will get a receipt of your payment by email.

3.3 How can I cancel my membership as a WebPuzzler Premium?

To cancel your membership as a WebPuzzler Premium just send an email to #href#mailto:support@ravensburger-webpuzzles.com?subject=Club%20VIP%20k%C3%BCndigen#hreflabel#support@ravensburger-webpuzzles.com#endhref# with the subject WebPuzzler Premium cancelation. Upon receiving your email we will cancel your membership at the next possible date. Please be aware that you observe the term of notice:
Montly subscription: term of notice 14 days
six months subscription: term of notice 1 month
12 months subscription: term of notice 1 month after your subscription ended you will be downgraded to a registered user automatically. Please be aware that upon cancelation of your subscription your puzzle account and your user data willnot be deleted.

4.1 What are Coins for?

Coins are the currency that you need to buy virtual goods on Ravensburger WebPuzzles. Virtual goods can be images, puzzle tools, more space in or decoration for your personal showcase.

4.2 How can I purchase Coins?

As a registered user you can choose between four different packages of Coins. To do so you need to be logged in. Click on the link „Coins“ in your login-box in the upper right-hand corner or go to your front page to click on the button „Buy Coins“. After choosing a Coins package please complete the form and click on „next“. To make your payment, please accept our GTC, choose your prefered method of payment and complete all boxes. Click on the button „Pay now“ to confirm your transaction.

4.3 Can I exchange points for Coins?

No, it is not possible to exchange points for Coins.

4.4 Which methods of payment are accepted by Ravensburger WebPuzzles?

Ravensburger WebPuzzles accepts the following methods of payment:

credit card: MasterCard, VISA, American Express
Electronic Direct Debit Procedure (DDP): Debiting only possible from a German account
PayPal
Instant Bank Transfer

4.5 My payment did not work, who can I contact?

5.1 I would like to do a puzzle, what do I need to do?

To do a puzzle, you first need to choose an image. To do so use one of the following possibilities: About the Keyvisual:
users that are not logged in, so-called guest users, can choose the indicated free image on the homepage. Registered users and WebPuzzlers Premium can choose any image from the keyvisual and start doing the puzzle right away.

About the genre wheel:
This is only possible for registered users and WebPuzzlers Premium. The genre wheel gives you an overview of all the existing categories. Choose a genre and click on it. A new list of all the images of this category will open.
Click on an image and you will be redirected to see the details of the image. As a registered user you can do any puzzle with 20 pieces by clicking on the picture. Do you want to do the puzzle more often or with more pieces? Then you can buy the image and you can use it as often as you like in all sizes. As a WebPuzzler Premium you can enjoy our full range of images and puzzle tools: Just click on the number of pieces you want to puzzle and you can start right away!

About My Images:
This option is only for registered users and WebPuzzlers Premium.Click on the category „My Images“. Depending on the actions you have implemented you can now choose an unfinished puzzle, one of your purchased images, an already finished puzzle or – for WebPuzzlers Premium – an uploaded image and start doing your chosen puzzle. As a WebPuzzler Premium you can enjoy Ravensburger WebPuzzles without any limits. As a registered user you can do a limited number of puzzles for free. For more puzzle fun Ou can unlock single images with coins. You can then use them without any limits and in all sizes as well.

About My Profile:
This option is only for registered users and WebPuzzlers Premium. Your homepage offers you three categories of suggested images. Under „My Images“ your last unfinished, your last purchased, and your last saved puzzle. The second category „suggestions“ shows all the puzzles that were done most often by other users that chose similar images that you have liked. Under „Favorite Images“ those images are shown that are users rated best.

About the information area:Click on an image in the information area on the right-hand side of the puzzle application. You will be redirected to the image details.

5.2 What is the meaning of the icons on the images and tools?

Registered users have the possibilities to buy images with coins. You can then do the image as a puzzle with any number of pieces available. The number next to the image indicates the price. As a WebPuzzler Premium you can do all puzzles for free.

Shows how much a tool or a decoration for your showcase costs.

6.1 How can I rotate and move a puzzle piece?

Rotate a puzzle piece
To rotate a puzzle piece, just click on the piece. It will rotate 90 degrees clockwise with each click. To save time while doing a puzzle, you can also use your keyboard to rotate pieces:
“d“ or „arrow right“ key = 90 degrees clockwise
„w“ or „arrow up“ key or „arrow down“ key = 180 degrees
„a“ or „arrow left“ key = 90 degrees anti-clockwise.

Move puzzle piece
To move a puzzle piece, simply click on the it with the left mouse button and move it whereever you want across the puzzle area while keeping the button pressed. To place a puzzle piece, just release the mouse button. Please note: An orange border around a piece indicates that it is marked. Only marked pieces can be moved or rotated.

Move several pieces at the same time
It is possible to move several pieces at the same time. To do so, select the symbol „Highlight Pieces“ on the upper border of the puzzle area. Then click on the puzzle area and drag a rectangle across the pieces you want to move. Then release the mouse button. All pieces inside the rectangle will be highlighted. To move all highlighted pieces simply click on one of them and drag it into the desired position keeping the left mouse button pressed.

6.2 What are puzzle tools and what kind of puzzle tools are there?

Puzzle tools come in handy, especially with difficult images. In your tool box on the left-hand side of the puzzle area you can find the following tools:

Border pieces only:Hides all pieces that are not border pieces at one click

Align pieces:With one click all pieces align correctly and cannot be rotated again. Deactivate the tool with another click on the icon to rotated pieces again.
Show matching pieces:With one click the four matching pieces of a highlighted piece are shown.

Show hidden pieces: With one click all pieces that are hidden underneath other pieces are highlighted.

Image background:With one click the image is shown as a transparent template in the background.

Grid: With one click the puzzle grid is shown in the background in its original size. Pieces that are in the right position snap in automatically.

Frame: Shows the size of the puzzle inside the puzzle area.

Puzzle seam: Shows the seam of connecting puzzle pieces at one click.

Compartments: Compartments help you to sort pieces and are placed on the lower border of the puzzle area. You can use them to sort pieces by color, number of noses, and types. You can move them freely and change their size, too!

6.3 How can I pause the clock?

If you want to pause the clock, click on the pause button in the progress bar on the upper left-hand side. Time will then be stopped, the puzzle will be hidden and a big play-button appears.
When you want to continue the puzzle, just click on the play-button in the progress bar or in the middle of the screen. You can then continue your puzzle.

6.4 Can I save an unfinished puzzle to continue it later?

As a registered user or a WebPuzzler Premium you can save an unfinished puzzle. To do so, click on in the puzzle area and choose a memory cell. Your puzzle will then be saved in its current progress and with the current date.

6.5 How do I find a saved puzzle again?

You can also find your saved puzzles under the category „My Images“ in the genre wheel, under the headline „Unfinished Images“. Furthermore, the recently saved puzzle is shown on your homepage under „My Images“. One click on it will load your saved progress and lead you to the puzzle area.

6.6 Can I download an image and do the puzzle offline?

No, it is not possible to download images. You can only do the puzzles we offer on the website of Ravensburger WebPuzzles.

7.1 What are awards and what kind of awards are there?

An outstanding performance needs to be rewarded. For this reason, eager puzzle fans can earn a variety of awards. Inside your own showcase, you can put your awards on display appropriatly. Awards are earned by doing puzzles out of certain categories. There are three kinds of awards: Experts of Pieces, Experts of Genres, and Experts of Community-Achievements.

The Experts of Pieces

You can earn the award „Expert of Pieces“ when you have finished at least 5 puzzles with the same number of pieces.
The Experts of Genres

You will receive the award „Expert of Genres“ when you have finished at least 5 images out of the same genre with at least 100 pieces each.

Community-Achievements:

The First: When you are the first user to finish a puzzle, you will receive this award.

Inviter of Friends: You can put this award on your showcase if you invite at least 5 friends successfully, i.e. they register for Ravensburger WebPuzzles after you invited them.

7.2 What are highscores and what kind of highscores are there?

Highscore lists show every user where he stands according to certain criteria compared to other users. Every highscore list is displayed in two categories; the general highscore list and the monthly highscore list. The highscore per month will be decided again every month. The general highscore list is valid for an unlimited period of time, it is never reset.

Highscores

Puzzle Score: The Puzzle Score is the main score and shows the total number of points that you have gained so far. The higher the number of pieces of a puzzle and the more difficult an image the higher the score you get after finishing the puzzle.
Most Puzzles: Shows the number of puzzles you have completed so far.

Most days logged in: Shows the number of days that a user has been logged in.

7.3 What are points?

You get points whenever you finish a puzzle. Since there are puzzles of different difficulties, the number of points awarded for a puzzle depends on the image. Furthermore, the number of pieces of a puzzle also influences the amount of points you can get. The list next to an image shows you the number of points you can achieve.

8.1 How do I upload a profile picture? What do I need to consider?

To upload your profile picture you need to be registered. Click on the menu item „My Profile“ beneath the login box and then on „Personal Data“. Click on the button „Upload Photo“ on your profile picture. Then follow the instructions in the pop-up.

8.2 How much can other users see of my profile?

Other users can see the following data on your profile:

Profile information: Favorite game, hobbies, profile picture
Best puzzles: Puzzles that you have put on your showcase
Awards: Awards that you have put on your showcase
Guestbook: Posts in your guestbook. Other users can leave messages for you if you have not deactivated your guestbook.

You have the possibility to hide your score from other users. To do so, go to „My Profile“ and deactivate the relevant settings.

8.3 How can I visit the profile of another user?

Click on the name of another user to be redirected to his or her profile. Are there any gray buttons like „Best Puzzles“ or „Guestbook“ the user does not allow other users to see his or her information.

8.4 When is a puzzle displayed in my showcase „Best Puzzles“?

When a puzzle is finished you can decide whether you want to put it on display in your showcase. You will find the showcase „Best Puzzles“ under „My Profile“.

9.1 How can I upload my own images and edit them?

You need to be a WebPuzzler Premium to upload your own images or photos.

Choose the category „My Images“ in the genre wheel and click on „Uploaded Images“. Open the window „Upload your own images“ and follow the instructions.

10.1 What does it mean to buy a tool for one puzzle game?

When you buy a tool for one puzzle game you can use it for this one puzzle until you finish it. Your tool is only linked to one image when you use it of an image for the first time.

11.1 How can I subscribe/unsubscribe to the Ravensburger WebPuzzles Newsletter?

On the registration form you can subscribe to the newsletter. To do so, just check the relevant box above the button „Register“.
