Puzzle-Motiv: Holy Thursday
Holy Thursday is a day full of customs and myths. Traditionally, people eat green vegetables and herbs on Holy Thursday, to absorb the power of spring for the coming year. The eggs that are laid on Holy Thursday are blessed in church on Easter sunday. Afterwards they are eaten together with a piece of their shell to protect people from sickness. This day has a special significance for Christians: On Holy Thursday, Jesus celebrated the Last Supper before he was crucified the next day.
